Today’s Saturday Standard tournament at Pro Reis Place delivered the dominance of control decks. While I was again unable to join this event, the teammates have informed me that almost half of the participants piloted various versions of the archetype. They did not made it in the Top 4 finish this time.

I have expected Esper Control to be the top performing deck in this category as they still have most of the essential components as well as consistency. Next in line is the Fires of Invention which just plainly focus on card advantage. The free spell effects lets them sideboard one-of cards which can be tutored by the Fae of Wishes.
