As usual, I am the one in-charge in preparing the decks for tonight’s Standard FNM tournament. It is advantage for me as because I am working at home, though at times I cannot get the time to build due to the busy schedule. For today, I was able to sneak in a few hours for a few deck updates. Here is a summary:

1. Converted Selesnya into Orzhov Aggro, with the list referenced from the one piloted by Pat Cox in Grand Prix Cincinnati.
2. Updated the Mono Black Devotion with the addition of Red for Dreadbore, Rakdos’s Return and most importantly, Stormbreath Dragon.
3. Upgraded Blue White Control to the Esper version from the same GP.
4. Switched the Azorius Devotion deck back to its Mono Blue version for consistency and the return of access to Rapid Hybridization vs the pro-White Dragons.
5. From Rakdos Devotion to Boros Devotion. I believed the latter is more consistent and opening up for Warleader’s Helix as agro is more expected in the local metagame.

Hopefully these changes will work later on. About 12 players are expected tonight and I am just waiting for teammates to confirm their attendance so as all the decks will be played.
