The Standard Pauper tournament was held at IBAM in Marymart once again to accommodate the new players as well as promote the store. I was expecting more attendees but then again the venue’s tables can only accommodate up to 8 players. Anyhow, we were able to gather 8 participants which means 3 rounds of gameplay with the first prize of an MtG Funko Pop figure.

I played a Red Green Aggro semi-stompy which I built at the last minute, earlier that day. I finished 2-1, losing to Allen’s Black Red Madness in Round 3 after I succumbed to his late game gas of card draws and Madness value on discard.
