The second week of Throne of Eldraine being legal in Standard got the local players scrambling for components to complete their decks. A lot of booster boxes were opened in the store (thanks to Rei) to provide the needed cards which is a good thing. I liked that they were able to pre-order these boxes instead of buying singles from Manila sellers or any other place.

Anywho, I was able to drop by Pro Reis place last night for the Friday Night Magic tournament. The pool gave me a Mono Red deck to pilot I was not lucky again with the spells I got as I faced two mirror match in the first two rounds. I ended losing to each of them in Game 3 because of the deck malfunction. Still, it was good to play with the new cards again and seeing the deck builds of the people which is quite interesting.
