For the quick definition, the MTG Standard Showdown is a program aimed at the Standard community and providing a reliable weekly setting for the most popular way to play Magic. For the past years, the MtG Iloilo is only holding this event once a week at Pro Reis Place. This time, we have another Standard Showdown at the Nth Dimension local game store which is already in its third week. The owner decided to be of the same time slot with Rei so the players has two options on which store to play this event. I would not recommend this as I would prefer the players to play two events rather than one. I would have one store to schedule it on a Saturday evening starting at 7:00pm. However, it is still up to the game store’s discretion.

When: Every Saturday at Pro Reis Place A3 Bookstore & Nth Dimension: Comics and Games, Time depending on LGS announcement.

Format: Standard, 3-5 Rounds based on attendance, no cut to top.

Entry Fee: P100

Prizes: Aside from the usual GRN Booster pack prizes, we have the special Standard Showdown booster packs given out to the Top finishers of the tournament.
