Various Adventure Aggro Standard Decklists

Throne of Eldraine’s Adventure-based deck strategy is still a staple part of the Magic: the Gathering Standard metagame. What makes the variance here is the color combination which utilizes the powerful Adventure card components of each chosen color.

Today I will be showing each popular Adventure Aggro decks in Standard, and the first of them is my current favorite, Naya Aggro. This deck was piloted by Ken Nabe which got into the Top 4 of the Season 1 Daily Trial @ BIG Magic.

Next up is the Temur colors. This gives the deck access to counter Magic, which is very relevant in the metagame of midrange and control Ultimatum decks and which you can basically counter their best spells which pressuring them beforehand.

The decklist below is Yuki Aoyama which got 1st place in the Season 1 Daily Trial @ BIG Magic last March 3rd.

We also have the basic two-color build such as the Selesnya (Green-White) deck below. You will notice the common Adventure card components in the three deckbuilds and the rest is mostly composed of the color-based components.

Pilot: Kazune Kosaka, placed Top 4 in Season 1 Daily Trial @ BIG Magic (Feb 22nd, 2021)

Of course, we have the popular Gruul version which is also composed of Landfall creatures and Embercleaves for a quick game closure. This is my current deck in MTG Arena which I will soon improve to a Naya or Temur version.

Pilot: Makoto Kikuchi, placed 2nd in Season 1 Daily Trial @ BIG Magic (Feb 22nd, 2021)

Overall, I can say that this deck archetype is still a contender in the Standard metagame and is adjustable depending on the other popular decks thriving in local and online events. Choose the best colors according to your playstyle and if you are open to variance, then I would also recommend the 3-color builds.

That is a wrap, until the next blog post.
