The Starcity Games Standard Open in Richmond just recently concluded earlier today and guess what is the winning deck. Tada, you have guessed it right. It is Mono-Red Aggro. Just like when every new set enters the format and the metagame is changing, it is initially dominated by this deck archetype. What else can go wrong with fast and cheap creatures and burn spells to the dome as finishers?

With War of the Spark, the deck got new cards to gear with such as Tibalt, Rakish Instigator to fend off life gain and of course the muse of the deck, Chandra, Fire Artisan.
