I am Playing the Legacy of the Void

I am trying to find time to play the campaign games of Starcraft II that I purchased at a sale price last time and just recently I did. That maybe because of the semester break of two weeks after finishing our DURP summer classes. I think my last gameplay was last month of June wherein I decided to finish one or two missions on a weeknight. That was the still the Zerg campaign and it was just yesterday afternoon that I was able to complete it. I set the game on a normal mode which I enjoyed without getting pressured nor facing defeat.

I am happy to recall the storyline of Sarah Kerrigan on her return to command the Zerg swarm and this time having acquired the power of the Primal Zerg. She had finally rescued Jim Raynor and took her revenge on Mengsk on the home planet of the Terrans, Korhal.

This time I had started the campaign of the Protoss, the least favorite race that I am piloting for 1 versus 1 battles. The first part started with the Battle in Aiur with the Templars plan to retake their home planet from the Zerg. Even though the race is very powerful, I am still getting used to the shortcut keys for their building and units and also being familiar with the Gateway warping tech. I am recently on their mission aboard the Spear of Adun, figuring out the way to defeat the ancient God Amon before he ends up messing with their heads. That is with the help of Jim Raynor and his Raiders. I am just somewhat sad though that Zeratul died at the hands of his mind-controlled friend Artanis.

Anyhow, I am still enjoying the storyline so far and hopefully on the next missions I get to master the Protoss’ battle strategy.

That is a wrap. Until the next post.
