Since it was my birthday yesterday (don’t ask the age :p), I’ve decided to buy a new Gunpla kit despite of my current backlogs. This is my sort of a self reward for my special day, so I visited the site of a previous online store where I bought my kits.
Since my budget was somewhat cut on this purchase, I chose to look into their SD kits line. Almost all of the kits are discounted so that somehow helped me decide what kits are worth the buy. That also reminded me that I only have one SD kit in my collection which was the G-Generation SD Zaku II. I guess it’s time that he’ll have his companion.
I’ve made purchase of two SD kits last Tuesday night, paid it via Paypal and the kits arrived just this morning.
Though SD kits are more on cuteness rather that articulation, I am sure to still enjoy building these kits and detailing them as much as I can do. Most of the parts are filled with panel lines that can be highlighted by both marker and Tamiya Accent color and add a few shading with the Tamiya weathering set.
Until next post, and don’t forget to greet me on Facebook or Twitter. 😀
