Levy’s Mono Green Tech at WMC 2013


The recently concluded World Magic Cup 2013 at Amsterdam opened another level of innovating decks in the Standard format. The limitations of the unified Standard format might be partially responsible, but it’s pretty much good news that the players are still up the challenge on building these decks.

The deck I’ll feature today is from the winning Team France which I rooted for when the top 8 countries were announced. The team was headed by Hall of Famer Raphaël Lévy, and proved again that their country is one of the powerhouses in the Magic scene.

The deck that Levy called to play was the Mono Green Aggro deck with new card Mutavault and a tech creature card Druid’s Familiar which he called as the ‘Green Hellrider’.
