Standard tournaments and Booster league will be the feature of the Magic: the Gathering events this coming weekend. Two Friday Night Magic will be the tournament options for players this Friday: one at Rei’s place and the other at Critical Hit. Note that there is a slight increase in the registration fee as the prize boosters has also increased in price. The latest is at 85php.

For Saturday, it will be a usual Saturday Standard tournament in the afternoon though I might hold a playtest and demo session in the morning to welcome new players and those who would want to learn the game.

Critical Hit supposedly started their new season of the Booster League tournament last weekend but I dunno if there were players as their page did not post any tourney results yet. Might as well wait for their updates. Hopefully, I can join this Sunday and get lucky in opening Aether Revolt boosters.

Lastly, it will be the Pro Tour weekend in Dublin, Ireland and our community superstar Mark Lawrence Tubola will be one of the Philippines’ representatives in the event. Best of luck and bring home the bacon Mark!
