I usually have this craving of opening Magic: the Gathering booster packs, especially on the new sets. Whenever I lose a round of Magic, I buy a booster. Whenever I drop by Reis place or at Nth Dimension, I buy booster packs. This is just the unusual satisfaction that I get on opening cards while having chances to get a premium foil planeswalker and stuff.
Whenever I am home and working on this blog or checking some Magic websites, I do have some time allocated on checking the Magic unboxing channels that recently became popular. At first it was just some ordinary unboxing of new Magic products. That lately became a trend as older set were also featured and opened by these channel owners and here below is the list of the channels that I follow.
He opens booster boxes, bundles, prerelease kits and even those specially packed or compiled MTG boosters at Walmart they call as Mystery boxes. He is also into the opening of Masters set like Ultimate Masters and the recent Modern Horizons. He is posting his videos on a daily basis.
His channel is not only on the unboxing part but also discussing Standard deck techs on MTG Arena, Most Valuable Cards, Modern Deck Tech, and related stuff. He also frequently goes live on Youtube streaming his Arena games.
As the namesake goes, the channel is more on the value generation of cards from the newest sets including the special sets like the Masters series. This is also on how the old sets’ boxes get value in the long run, comparing the price in its first years.
The channel host, Rudy, also posts his rants or opinions on the current news on Magic like on product allocation or on the distribution of fake cards on eBay. He has just a lot of stuff to discuss on.
That is about it for the Top 3 channels that I check for the unboxing stuff. Make sure you click to subscribe to get on their latest video releases.
Until the next blog post.
