This weekend’s Sunday right after the Gameswalker 50k Standard event will be the 2019 Philippine Judges Conference. A big thanks for the Bacolod judges for the hosting this year, which mainly benefited me as I am just one boat ride away. On a serious note, I am looking forward to improved topics and activities at this conference as compared to that of last year.

My preparation maybe more on the Standard tournament on the day before. I was hoping to discuss a topic and be part of the lecturers but I haven’t thought of the new idea to share. I still think to be that of a novice in the knowledge of judging and handling rules. I’d be looking forward to appreciating all the learnings that I will encounter on this conference. There is a list of topics on the Judges’ app page which I think I will go through by tomorrow or Thursday as I am still divided into that and preparing my sideboard plan.

This will be an exciting weekend I am pretty sure.
