The complete Magic Core Set 2019 spoiler is already released and the Prerelease events will be on this coming weekend. For the Standard brewing part, I have mentioned in a previous blog post the possible return of Zombies

in the metagame, which is supported by this upcoming set. With the preview of the new Liliana planeswalker that is in theme with this tribe, we will be updating the build and probably suggest some mainboards.

We also found one notable Zombie card, Graveyard Marshal that is already a good two drop to fill in the deck and with its 3 power a decent attacker. It works well with Liliana’s +1 ability, recycling or in a proper term, zombify your milled dudes.

This updated build is partially based on Andrea Mengucci’s article list on the Channel Fireball website. He added Ammit Eternal which I think is a fill for a huge critter that is non-Lord dependent. I would still stick with the Demon of Catastrophes though.
