The Zendikar Rising quick booster draft is still available to play on MTG Arena and so I decided to try it out again and this time with some draft references from an MTG strategy article website. It is standard to already decide on the color combinations that you’d want in the cards you will be drafted but I could not avoid taking the strongest card, especially if it is the first pick. I then rely my strategy on the card’s color or colors. I tried to avoid it many times but then some of the cards that get passed to me also somewhat support those colors that I have chosen.
For today, I am sharing my Zendikar Rising booster draft done last Friday where I started picking Red and White cards but eventually ended with a Red-Green core splashing White for Makindi Ox and Journey to Oblivion. Draft match record: 7-1
