The Zendikar Rising Championships have just have been concluded and we have a champion, Brad Barclay piloting an Azorius Control deck in the Historic format and the same format was played in the Championship match. For the record, Brad’s record in the Historic matchups went undefeated in the Swiss up until the playoff rounds. They say that it was unlikely for this deck archetype to perform well but I can say that it was the best deck in the Historic part of the tournament.

Brad faced another powerhouse player, Autumn with Mono-Red Goblins which is the most popular aggro deck in Historic. He was able to close it out with two 2-1 match records.
