Last weekend featured two Grand Prix events in two cities, Atlantic City and Singapore. The former was Standard while the latter’s format was RTR Limited. One deck, which proved that the format has still room for innovation, emerged victorious in GP Atlantic City.

The player Jon Stern piloted a Bant-color Hexproof critters deck with powerful & cheap casting aura spells. Officially called Bant Aura, the deck battled through the field of 1,647 players & Jon went unscathed on Day One and powered the deck until the top eight on Day Two.

The deck previously caught attention on Magic Online wherein it made several 4-0’s in Daily Events.
