Last Wednesday started this year’s M:tG World Championships wherein sixteen of the best players of the game gathered to battle for the title of Player of the Year. One of the players was Brian Kibler, a Hall of Famer and renowned deck brewer. In the Standard rounds of the event, he piloted an effective version of Red Green or Gruul guild aggro. The deck curves into Strangleroot Geist, Flinthoof Boar, Hellrider and Thundermaw Hellkite and utilizes Domri Naya as sort of a card drawer. He made a straight 3-0 of those rounds.
