Magic: the Gathering Iloilo Big Time Commander Tourney this Saturday

Good day all, I do hope you have a productive Tuesday and your goals today be achieved. It has been announced in the Magic: the Gathering Iloilo Commander EDH community group chat of the upcoming major Commander tournament this August 6th, 2022. The event is called the CommandFest @ Nth Dimension, an APAC League 2022 qualifier type of tournament.

For a quick info, Nth Dimension: Comics and Games has been a home for EDH Community since the comeback of face2face gameplay and also been hosting the weekly Saturday Commander tournament. This will be the first of the major event after the pandemic has halted the Magic: the Gathering physical gameplay. CommandFest @ Nth Dimension
Date: August 6, 2022
Time: 2pm to 6pm 
 
Format: Multi EDH 
Pairing Method: Modified Dutch Swiss 
No. of Rounds: 
If less than 32 players = 3 Rounds + Final Table for Top 4
32 Players = 4 Rounds + Final Table 
 
Time Limit per round: 60 Mins + 1 Cycle of turns / Win based on life total if no clear winner after 1 cycle. If all life totals are equal, whole pod gets 2.5 pts for the round.

Top 1  – Yuriko Playmat
Top 4  – LYLGS Sol Ring
Top 8  – Jedith Ojanen Alt Art
Top 16 – Weathered Wayfarer 2×2 BAB
Individual card pick by standing.
1 LYLGS Sol Ring will be raffled off by Dice Roll / 4 players 
*Can only win 1 sol ring
Participation Prize : Yuriko Alternate Art.
 
PROXY RULES
-You may bring proxies for your ABUR, P3K and Reserved List Cards or any card worth more than 200$ provided you show the TO proof of ownershipe. I.E. Picture with Name Date and Time.
 
-The TO will keep a list of proxies the players has. Play as if there are no proxies.
 
-If you have doubts about a card proxy not being declared, you may ask the TO to check the proxy List
 
Modified Dutch Swiss:
-Score will be on a 4/3/2/1 basis unlike regular Swiss’ 1/.5/0 pts.
-1st round Pairings will be random
-Subsequent Pairings will be done based on Overall Game Win %. OGW (So expect to get paired with other pod winners if you win your pod).
 
-Tiebreakers will be based on POD Finish % over the course of the game.(Pod Finish% will not have any impact on your score unless there is a tie).
