Started my Rakdos Lands Collection

As I have not yet officially announced it here but now I am on this blog post, I have started collecting Nonbasic lands of the Black and Red colors. I have decided on doing this as sort of a personal collection due to the fact that I am a big Rakdos fan, given that the first deck that gained me my Pro point was Black-Red Vampires.

I began with buying a playset of Dragonskull Summit original art and followed that with Smoldering Marsh and Foreboding Ruins also in a playset of 4 copies. Next was the playset of Lavaclaw Reaches which was an ideal card during my Vampires in Zendikar Standard days and also when I played Jund back in Shards of Alara. I also got copies of the original Ice Age art of the pain land Sulfurous Springs which was quite pricey even for an old card. I was able to buy a few during my trip in Grand Prix Hong Kong though I did not commit to buying the expensive ones like Bloodstained Mire and Blackcleave Cliffs.

Thankfully I have found this website that features on the sort of an encyclopedia of the lands of Magic: the Gathering. This way, it will be easy for me to do a quick checklist of the cards that are already added and those that are pending to be bought given the extra cash in my budget.

As of this posting, I have just bought on eBay in a US store a playset of Rocky Tar Pit on its classic Mirage and new Duel Deck version. Hopefully, it will arrive as soon as possible.
