Magic: the Gathering Top Standard Decks Updates as of End of July 2022

The recent updates on the Magic: the Gathering Standard format usually depends on the results of the various major tournaments online on MTGO and Arena, and also with return of face-to-face events. With the limited set in the format, the top deck archetypes usually retain their ranks as they are more consistent in winning games, and while there are some decks with experiment builds, they do not really excel as the consistency becomes an issue. Still, I’d be happy to see some of them perform well even with just one major Magic: the Gathering tournament.

Magic: the Gathering Standard Jund Modified Aggro Deck July Update

I had my Standard pet deck idea in a while and decided recently decided to do some quick updates for the Magic: the Gathering Streets of New Capenna setup. It might be quite an old strategy but I would still consider building it for the local tournament scene once the card components from the pool are available. The deck is Jund Modified Aggro which first appeared during the Kamigawa Standard deck build previews. Magic: the Gathering Standard Sideboard Plan versus Control Decks in the Format

I have observed that sideboard suggestions are not likely recommended as part of the Magic: the Gathering Standard deck tech videos I have seen on Youtube. Some of these vloggers may lightly discuss it, others do a thorough card-by-card analysis, and the rest are just there showing the list, and that is it. Their suggestions may appear to be archetype specific, but the general sideboard strategy is missed in the discussion.

Magic: the Gathering Standard Arena Deck Tech: Simplified Naya Landfall

I remember making my first Standard deck in Magic: the Gathering Arena when I reactivated my account after the open Beta testing period of the game platform ended a while ago. The Red-Green Landfall Aggro deck was one of the prevalent archetypes at that time. It was not a perfect build but I acquired some of the components by grinding in the daily tasks for gold and some booster packs opened and wildcards converted to specific card pieces.
