As we end 2012, the local Magic community has decided to make it more awesome aside from the usual Mtg Iloilo Championships. The group has decided to hold the first-ever Commander tournament here in Iloilo. The details after the cut.
The biggest Mtg tournament I’ve joined so far in my playing career are the Grand Prix. These events run around the world at specific destination cities. In this coming year 2013, Wizards of the Coasts are looking to increase the number of GP’s in the new season. Continue reading
As the next expansion Gatecrash is approaching, the current Standard still has enough room for innovation. This was again proved by the deck that won Grand Prix Nagoya last weekend. That deck approach featured a fast-paced Humans reanimation plan with Angel of Glory’s Rise.
