C&C (Cheap and Competitive) Decks for Standard

Playing and competing in Magic has been getting tough, especially on the financial aspect. Most powerful cards nowadays cost you a minimum of 500 pesos, and you really have to spend thousands to build a “so-called” Tier 1 deck. Most people (including myself) blame the Mythic rarity as the cause of this sudden rise in card prices, though we just have to deal with it. The problem now is for the beginners who want to play competitive Magic but do not have the financial capacity to do so.

Hi all. What I’ve noticed since I’ve started playing Mtg is that thinking of deck ideas come at unusual and inappropriate times. I remembered back in college days when we were studying for the Thermodynamics exam when my friend came up with a CoP control deck with Alter Reality and Mind Bend.
