Miss Universe 2011 Today at Sao Paulo, Brazil

“Might as well go with the hype.” As of this posting, the Miss Universe 2011 is currently being held at Sao Paulo, Brazil. My country’s contingent, Ms. Philippines Shamcey Supsup prepared very well for the event and has been a crowd favorite on the online voting. Currently, she’s on the top 5 and I am hoping very much that she’ll win the title. The rest of the top 5 are Angola, Brazil, China, and Ukraine. Continue reading →

As we are closing to the prerelease of big set Innistrad this September 24th, the daily previews so far proved to be (personally) not that exciting. Aside from the new enemy color duals and the planeswalkers, new cards revealed are more useful on Limited than on Constructed though I might try to experiment a few of them when the full set is released. With the pending release of the big set this year in September, the excitement about what the new set offers grows. First is the confirmation of double-faced cards, the first time ever in Magic history. The Transform mechanic makes this possible. With the ‘Underworld’ themed set, you will get to see Humans in the daytime transform into Werewolves during the night, or a simple bat turn into a Vampire.

The Singapore Trip In Pictures

My first travel abroad was quite memorable and awesome. The city we visited was Singapore. This was on the first week of June 2011. The main purpose was of course Magic related; to attending the Magic: the Gathering Grand Prix. My first GP actually, after failing to attend in Manila last year. The tournament report would be best in detail in another article, so this post is all about the pics I took during the trip.
