The July month-end Modern tournament last Saturday was somewhat of a disappointment. First, because of the lack of players that attended the event, and second, the untimely power outage at the start of Round 1. About 10 players readied to battle, but the odds weren’t in our favor on that afternoon. Partially responsible is the bad, heavy rain weather.

Pauper fever has hit the Magic: The Gathering Iloilo community once again. The first tournament was a success with 15 participants. Various archetypes were explored, with Mono White Aggro emerged victorious. Another tournament is then scheduled for this coming Sunday
