I have contacted our local TO Rei Coo for the upcoming Magic: the Gathering tournaments that could entice the local Iloilo community in joining and playing competitively with more reason to do so. With that in mind, we tried to gauge the possible dates of the Prerelease weekend since the usual delays on the arrival of the product are expected. This has become the norm since the pandemic struck as the supply chain has been affected.

Magic: the Gathering – Sharing My Rakdos (B/R) Lands Collection (January 2023 Update)
It has been a while since I updated my Magic: the Gathering Rakdos (Black-Red) lands collection and the relevant good news (but still requires some funding for purchase) was the reprinting of Sulfurous Springs in Dominaria United. The card’s variance was my concern as there is regular art and borderless art. The same is applied to the Haunted Ridge card from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt.

Here is some New Year good news. The local Magic: the Gathering Pioneer weekly tournaments are now having an increase in player support, and the added participants are those having a holiday vacation here in Iloilo City. The first Pioneer FNM tournament of the year 2023 got 12 participants and much more if not others having conflicting schedules. I was able to drop by Reis’s place and took some videos for vlog content which I will post this weekend.
