Work in Progress: HGUC AMX-107 Bawoo

So yeah, new year, new stuffs, new style (hopefully). I’m looking forward for more good happenings in 2012 and hoping for more improvement in both work and on my hobbies. I started on the first day of the year working on my last Gunpla kit purchase in December.

This kit was bought from an online seller on Facebook. I had been buying my kits from actual stores and this kit in particular is somewhat rarely on stock. Also, I’d wanted to check kits that are uncommonly built so I was happy to know that the seller had this one. Anyway, I had worked around 4 hours cutting, and scraping off extra plastic on the kit’s parts. The color plan is to use Metallic Red for most of the kit’s colors and retain the rest (i.e. grey, black, yellow, etc).

Here are the pics that I took earlier.

The runners and the building manual.

Somewhat detailed info about the Bawoo. Hope I could read Japanese.

The separated parts from the runners. I've grouped the parts for the grey paint.

These red parts actually look so orangeish..

Almost done cutting off all the parts. I'll resume painting maybe by tomorrow.

Hopefully this color scheme plan will work out well. Until the next post. Thanks for reading and a happy new year once again.
