Big Bad Bowls Ramen Review

We dropped by Big Bad Bowls last night after a usual Saturday Night drinking session and we are glad that there is a nearby resto that is open 24 hours and can cater our need to eat some delicious Japanese dishes. They are located at the Sen. Efrain Trenas blvd going to the Divesion road & right after the bridge near San Agustin. They have one Ramen and one Beef noodle soup and their menu and I got interested on what is their take on the Pork Chashu Ramen. I ordered via a paper checklist one bowl with add-ons on the Tamago egg and an iced tea. We got three bowls in total as Jann and Rene also ordered Ramen, but with no add-ons.

I only took one picture unfortunately after our orders were served.

Big Bad Bowls
Dish: Pork Chashu Ramen

Price: 120php

Noodles: Firmness is soft to moderate
Broth: Flavorful but the richness is somewhat average.
Sliced chashu pork belly is okay.
Eggs are boiled & marinated. Not soft-boiled though.
Servings: Large quantity in noodles and broth. Hence the name Big Bad Bowls.

Value over the price: 9/10

Overall it is an average ramen taste but not that good of a ramen in terms of authenticity. You get your money’s worth and your cravings satisfied. The total amount spent was P210, and that is pretty low-costed for one ramen meal. I have yet to try their gyoza side dish and maybe the beef noodles on my next visit.
