So here I am, in front of my laptop and enjoying the remaining hours of 2011. Recalling the happenings this year, I can say that I was quite successful and happy with my Mtg vice err career err hobby. I will cut this drama short and discuss with you the purpose of this blog post.
I just love Goblins. My deck in Magic had Goblin Patrol and Goblin War Buggy in it. Those echo cost was a bit clunky but casting them on first and second turns felt really good. These little critters attracted me to become a red player in my early years in the game. Continue reading

With the Standard rotation two months, I can say that people get bored of playing it with the current metagame. Even here in our local community, they get tired of seeing Solar Flare, Wolf Run Ramp, Red Burn, Tokens, etc. Maybe the partial cause is the addiction to EDH but still. I personally know that there are still a lot to explore in the current sets in Standard and I’m looking forward to innovate more in the format while waiting for Dark Ascension in February.
