Mardu Midrange is Still a Top Contender in Brother’s War Standard

It is somewhat a while since I played in a physical Magic: the Gathering Standard tournament. The reason is that when the Brother’s War card preview season, the pool decided to quit on the format as it is not entirely sustainable for many major concerns. Magic: the Gathering Repacks Raffle Part 6 gets an Old Dragon as Prize

Holding some raffles in Magic: the Gathering is nothing new as buying a typical booster pack. The contents are randomized including the Rare or Mythic cards which are thought to be of great value in every set, though there are notable ones. That said, I decided to do some raffle kind in the form of repack boosters. That way, each participant would not be going home empty-handed.

The local and online Magic: the Gathering tournaments are running at full blast with the various events posted and a few major events to consider. While The Brother’s War has produced a new batch of artifact-based Standard decks, the metagame that has stirred with the new set has continued to be dominated by the top-tier tri-color midrange decks.

The Brother’s War Set Booster Live Box Break #1

Most of the Magic: the Gathering booster box unboxing video I saw on Youtube was quite productive, in terms of pulling the best cards from a certain set. Also, hitting some good foil cards and for the set boosters, relevant The List cards such as Sensei’s Divining Top. The boxes seem to be very consistent and so I also did my own opening.

Magic: the Gathering BRO Standard Deck Tech Azorius Blink Aggro Update

The current Magic: the Gathering Standard metagame can be said to be shaping up to play around a specific deck archetype. We can imply that The Brother’s War set has produced new ones and somewhat upgraded the existing ones, but a certain deck that continues to dominate is still being observed. We have yet though to produce more data from the recent MTG tournament results online and in physical major events to further support this claim.
