The current community quarantine in our city has got me some time to check on a few backlogs in my account and character in Ragnarok Online Mobile – Eternal Love. I have been playing the game for years now and it seems that for every changes and new features, it got me scrounging again in order to keep up.

I decided to try my luck again in refining my equipment and so I looked for online guides on Youtube. I have found not one but two interesting techniques in refining via a video “ROM Refine Tips and Technique” guide posted by Xhin-Halen TV.

Here below is a recap of what he presented in the video. Lets us start with some Initial Habits to do Before Refining.

Feed and Touch your Pet to become the Yellow and Smile Mood icon.
Grind for 10-15 minutes with the pet and then go back to the refinement NPC.
Choose at least 3 kinds of the cheapest item just only for sacrificing but very in demand in the market exchange.

The video discussed two major kinds of refining technique. It is explained in detail below.

Technique #1:

If there are two times of success refine for the item, change it to another item to sacrifice.

If the item breaks, go to another refinement NPC in other towns (i.e. Juno, Niflheim, Al De Baran). They explained in this method that you will always get success to refine and a very low percentage of breaking the item.

Technique #2:

Six straight successes – This method works when the sacrificial item refines successfully, then will fail in the next refine but not broken. This will repeat for three consecutive times. That will then be your hint to put in your main item to refine.

I have yet to try this method when I can get the time to setup my Oridecons and Elunium as well as my sacrifice items. We shall if this really works as what they claimed in the video.
