By Standard, we based on the Magic: the Gathering deck build of an aggro deck to be composed of one-drop 2/1s, and two-drop 2/2s or 3/2s, partnered with an anthem effect to bolster them. The decks from the Standard 2022 format are currently inherited in the Standard when Innistrad: Midnight Hunt became legal to play so is the expected metagame. Good thing you would not need to adjust much as to what matchups to expect in your daily play grind on Magic Arena or MTGO.

Magic: the Gathering Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is already out and ready to play in Standard and other older formats. I’ll be expecting our local game store to have these products from the set arriving maybe by the end of September or October first week. Anywho, I posted several deck techs with the new cards, and for today, we revisit the deck that stars the iconic creature of Innistrad: Delver of Secrets.

I am going to admit my bias: Vampires is my favorite tribe in Innistrad. Since the first version of the set was released, I get to admire these blood-sucking night creatures in a way that I made my first significant-finish in my Magic: the Gathering tournament career and gaining my first professional point. That was back in Grand Prix: Singapore event last June 2011 and was also my first Grand Prix joined. I finished in 54th place.

The deckbuilding for Standard hypes up after the complete Innistrad: Midnight Hunt spoiler is out. This is one of the reasons why I like the spoiler season for each upcoming Magic: the Gathering set though I am not that of a good deck brewer myself. At the least, I just get to update some existing deck archetypes in the format. Anywho for the deck feature today, I will be sharing an initial build for Red-Green Werewolves which I think will be one of the newest archetypes in Standard 2022 or after the rotation.

In the Standard 2022 format, one of the metagame decks that will not be affected by the upcoming rotation is the Mono-Green Aggro or so-called Stompy deck. With the coming release of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, we check on which Green cards would be of possible upgrade on the component of the deck whether it is a new creature, a removal spell, or an enchantment to boost your dudes.
