Yesterday we held two Standard tournaments at Rei’s place, morning and afternoon sessions to maximize our Saturday time and also to accommodate people who can only play one of the two events. The morning tournament started at around 11 am, with fourteen participants.
It has been a very busy weekend for the first Iloilo Hobby Con event. It was very tiring but very worth the turnout. My role last weekend was on managing the Magic: the Gathering Iloilo tournaments and join the toy display exhibit for Iloilo Toy and Comic Collectors.
There is something big happening this August and my community of Magic: the Gathering Iloilo enthusiasts will be a part of it. The Iloilo’s First Hobby Con will be this coming August 10 to 11, 2013 and for an update, we have finally decided on what activities to hold for the two-day event.
So yeah, in some way I enjoyed my Sunday weekend. It is because I joined the Snapcasters team in a day of photoshoot in San Miguel, Iloilo. The specific location was at Goducate Training Center, half a resort and half wellness center. Continue reading
Another big convention event here in Iloilo is coming. This is the first ever Iloilo Hobby Con, a fusion of all the popular hobbies in Iloilo City.
