By definition and history of the term, the Creative City is a concept developed by Australian David Yencken in 1988 and has since become a global movement reflecting a new planning paradigm for cities. It was first described in his article ‘The Creative City’, published in the literary journal Meanjin. In this article, Yencken argues that while cities must be efficient and fair, a creative city must also be one that is committed to fostering creativity among its citizens and to providing emotionally satisfying places and experiences for them.

Enjoyable City Biking in Iloilo City
What do you usually do when you go out to bike? For leisure? For exercise? Errands? A visit to your friends? What else? Whatever your goal when you do city biking, make sure that it is within enjoyment and safety. As for me, my day-to-day biking is biking-to-work on weekdays and leisure biking on weekends. Bike-to-work is out of necessity and given the pandemic scenario.

So we are now placed in the strictest Enhanced Community Quarantine Status up until August 15. That means limiting people movement and business opened during this period. The aim is to lower the COVID cases amid the threat of the Delta variant of the virus that probably caused the spike in the recent weeks. The drawback is the local economy not gaining revenue for another week will greatly affect most businesses particularly the non-essential ones.
