Magic: the Gathering Standard AFR Dark Gruul Aggro Deck

What fascinates me when building Magic: the Gathering Standard decks is the color splashing that they do to be efficient in countering other metagame decks. Adding a third color goes beyond the traditional build with the minimal drawback of not getting the right lands for example. In today’s Standard AFR deck feature, we have a Gruul Aggro list that went “dark” by having access to Black’s strong spot removals. Not to mention the main deck Valki, God of Lies.

Innistrad Midnight Hunt Card Preview: Infernal Grasp

While I still haven’t experience the tabletop gameplay of Standard with Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, the next set’s card previews got an initial launch with an announcement from the Magic: the Gathering Official Facebook page. The Innistrad: Midnight Hunt inital previews was streamed on their Twitch channel and was also posted on Daily MTG website right after. The excitement of new cards again with the comparison of the previous Innistrad sets gets me the feel of the set’s theme and mechanics improving.

Magic: the Gathering Standard 2022 Deck: Rakdos Berserkers

Magic: the Gathering Standard 2022 is a Magic Arena-specific format where the newest sets are included without the requirement to battle the Top decks in the current Standard format. This opens to a variety of deck creations that were before toppled by the high gear cards from the older sets. The new cards from the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms also provided a bunch of deck strategies to explore with.

Four Ways To Stop Winota Aggro Decks

The current Magic: the Gathering Standard metagame under the aggro category considers Winota decks as one of the top-tier archetypes. Aside from the main strategy of Winota trigger and Blade Historian, the deck offers versatile gameplay that makes it last for the late game. The Top Ten Black Removals in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Standard

Black is Magic: the Gathering‘s best color in the game when dealing with creatures, like destroying, exiling, and a lot of other words to describe it. It is what makes control decks in various formats use versus the aggressiveness of creature decks. Also increases their survivability to reach the late game for their big spells.
