The local Magic: the Gathering Iloilo tournament scene is pretty much highly attended despite of the current Standard metagame being broken or changed to a 3/3 Elk with the Oko decks dominating the format. A total of sixteen participants went to spell slinging at Pro Reis place last Saturday afternoon, in the hopes of winning the Throne of Eldraine Special foil promo booster packs.
I was able to drop by at around the end of round 3 to check on the rank status of my teammates, Ace and Ericson. Fortunately, they are on the top tables and only a win away from gaining a Top 4 or Top 6 finish.
After four rounds of gameplay, here are the Top 6 players of the tournament:
