I have been trying to do a batch discussion of the card previews for the upcoming Magic: the Gathering Dominaria United set, and that is to specify each card’s potential and gameplay uses in various formats. Standard is the utmost priority because of the scheduled rotation, and also my familiarity with the format’s metagame decks. It has always been a temptation in having to open Magic: the Gathering booster packs on live sell. That is because there are certain sets that have these lottery cards that are highly priced in value on the trading card market. The best examples are those Expedition lands found in Battle for Zendikar and Oath of the Gatewatch booster packs in which some of us were lucky to pull some back in the day.
