Magic: the Gathering Iloilo Ixalan Prerelease

One thing that will get you excited in the coming weekend is the Magic: the Gathering Ixalan Prerelease. Here are the details of the upcoming Prerelease Saturday event for the set. The store sponsor is Rei’s Place and there will be 36 slots for the special PR Sealed tournament. For slot reservations, just search the thread at the MTG Iloilo Group. Around 10 slots are still available. Also, make sure to bring sleeves and basic lands to complete your decks.

Lightning Strike & RDW in Ixalan

HOU Standard Deck Feature: G/W Ramp
The last two Standard Grand Prix before the rotation is already in the books. Things already seem to be wrapping up with only Nationals as the other major tournament before Ixalan is released. One particular deck archetype that got the highlight in the GP last weekend was the Green White Ramp. It finished in 2nd place in GP Washington DC and was piloted by Collins Mullen.
