As for every new Magic: the Gathering set’s full card spoilers are fully revealed officially, we usually go for the Mythic cards as to what their potential (Standard-worthy?) is in some of the formats of the game. We also check on their individual card prizes, if ever we get to open one of them, and if we can sell them to the hype or not. Considering that they are the money-grab of every new set.

Last Saturday, I was assigned as the tournament organizer of our weekly local Saturday Standard event and took this opportunity to ask our fellow Ilonggo MTG players on what are their take on the upcoming new set, The Brother’s War, in terms of the favorite cards and other notables for the Standard format. The Magic: the Gathering deck building in DMU Standard is continuous, in particular, the list that are keep getting adjusted to the format’s metagame and at the least weekly. The one deck I will feature in today’s blog post is the Broker’s Ascendancy deck which I think got a relevant makeover to go with the metagame of Esper Raffine, Jund Windgrace, and Grixis Sol’ Kanar.
