Today’s Magic: the Gathering Streets of New Capenna Standard deck tech goes with the Top 8 results of the Open @ The Pizza Box tournament and the highlighted deck Orzhov Midrange. It is already a known archetype in the current Standard format but I decided to check on the build again as what new card strategies were included in the list.

MtG Iloilo Saturday Standard Tourney Results (June 18th, 2022)
Seeing the consistency of the players in the weekly Magic: the Gathering Saturday Standard tournament at Reis Place was quite satisfying. That may be because they have mostly established the decks they are playing and that was already updated with the cards from the recent set, Streets of New Capenna. As for my card pool team, we have already fulfilled the top-tier decks and are just mainly adjusting with the builds to optimize the usage of our cards. The dual lands might be a slight issue but more card components are already on the way.

My initial reaction after that win of the (Jeskai Hinata Midrange) deck in the New Capenna Championships this weekend is “There goes the old school.” We do not really need the families of the new set to be that effective in the Standard deck strategy. The strategy of controlling the board and going airforce with Hinata and Goldspan Dragon is just consistent.

Hey guys, I am sharing today a Magic: the Gathering decklist for the Standard format which strategy has adapted the aggressive aspect of the Riveteers colors in Streets of New Capenna. By its meaning, the decklist consist of the creature curve of that family colors and also utilizing a late-game Blitz creatures plan and a flipped Fable of the Mirror-Breaker. Of course, the meathook added to the spice up the damage race.

The Mono-Red Aggro or Red Deck Wins is still considered to be a strong contender in the Magic: the Gathering Standard format, given the popularity of tri-color decks from Streets of New Capenna. It might get a few specific cards from the new set to add to its arsenal but we are pretty sure that its speed & aggressive curve will still be there. Also, it is pretty much easy to set up on MTG Online and Magic Arena. Next up is an updated RDW decklist.
