MTG Decktechs at TCGplayer $75k Championships

Last weekend was a really busy one for Magic communities around the globe. A few countries held their National Championships (including here in the Philippines) and the US had two major events, the SCG 5k at Richmond and the TCGPlayer 75k Champs in Chicago. The banning surely had opened up the Magic: the Gathering Standard metagame to new decks and punished a few old ones. Cawblade is the one primarily affected though based on the recent results of big events in the US and various National Championships, the deck is still a powerhouse even without the mind sculptor and the mystic. That would be another topic though as this article is about the other deck affected by the banning, the Boros aggro.

MTG – Mono Black Vampires Deck Update

Hi all, here is a recent update of our build on Mono Black Vampires in Standard. For your info, Vampires has done pretty well in the recent Magic: The Gathering Worlds championship. It finished undefeated (6-0) on Day 1 of that event despite being less popular with only 4 players piloting the deck.

Happy Friday all. Its been a while since my last quality post because of a messed mind set. Maybe its an effect of the awesomeness of card previews this week which confused me on which one to write first. Anyway, I better do this first before I loss the momentum.
The next prediction I will make on the post Zendikar decks in Standard would be the new breed of a tribe deck or rather a creature sub class. Yes, I’m talking about Zendikar’s Ally creatures. Since Zendikar’s theme focused on treasures, quests, and traps, these class of citizens in Zendikar adds up as an ally or allies to help in your adventures and achieving them.
