Magic: the Gathering BRO Standard Deck Tech: Abzan Self-mill

The current Magic: the Gathering Standard metagame is still shaping up with the entry of The Brother’s War in the format though we already seeing some staple decks like those built around Portal to Phyrexia. Some variances I saw was Mono-Green and Jeskai Midrange artifacts. Also, the new Soldiers Tribal aggro deck is looking to be the face of the metagame under the aggro category.

DMU Standard Bant Ascendancy: The Unique Version

The Magic: the Gathering deck building in DMU Standard is continuous, in particular, the list that are keep getting adjusted to the format’s metagame and at the least weekly. MTG Iloilo APAC League Qualifiers Top 8 Decks

Last weekend, another major Magic was the Gathering local tournament for the MTG Iloilo Community. It was another APAC League qualifiers event, with Standard as the primary format. There was a total of 19 players in attendance, me included. Huge prizes are at stake so yeah, we had to send out three players and maximize the decks from the card pool.

MTG Arena Playtesting Standard Domain Control Deck Ranked Matches Part 1

The playtest sessions on Magic: the Gathering Arena really help in checking the metagame in Standard, Pioneer, and other formats. The actual deck gameplay testing is very much different than just being familiar with the Top decks built such as Esper Midrange, Grixis, and Mono-Black Midrange. The point is that their unfamiliar cards are being used and you would get caught off-guard in the process. Also witnessing how certain cards interact would help you solve once you face a similar scenario in the future.
